About Me – Dr. Nasser Kazmouz

My name is Dr. Nasser Kazmouz, and I’m proud to serve as the founder and lead physician at MD-Direct. I’m originally from Idlib, Syria, where I completed my medical degree at the University of Aleppo. After immigrating to Canada and the United States to continue my medical education, I began practicing medicine in 2006 and completed my Family Medicine residency at Michigan State University’s Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies.

With nearly two decades of experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, and Emergency Medicine, I’ve had the privilege of treating a wide range of patients, including underserved populations across rural Minnesota. Now based in Florida, I’m focused on delivering personalized, community-based healthcare rooted in trust, accessibility, and compassion.

My clinical specialties include mental health, women’s health, acute injury treatment, weight loss management, and school and work physicals. Outside of medicine, I actively participate in medical mission trips to support communities affected by war and natural disasters. When I’m not practicing, I enjoy early morning hikes, coffee by the water, beach sunrises, and spending quality time with my three kids.
